After the success of Rob Zombie's Halloween remake, a remake of Friday the 13th has been greenlit, as well as a remake of Hellraiser.

Dimension Films just hired Frenchmen Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo to write and direct the remake based on the presumed scare-worthiness of their movie Inside, which followed a woman being haunted by a strange ghost after the death of her boyfriend.

Clive Barker will produce.

In the wake of this remakey goofiness, I'm wondering how long it'll be before the studios start remaking movies that came out, say, the year before.

But then again, we already have projects like The Incredible Hulk, so I guess we're there.
