In our bi-daily bit of Star Trek casting news, longtime character actor Ben Cross has landed the role of Sarek in J.J. Abrams' upcoming reboot of the sci-fi franchise.

The appearance of both of Spock's parents in this flick raises the question, though: Who won't appear in it? Find out after the jump!

Because we here at CC2K love you, I've assembled an ad-hoc cast list of random characters from the original series and who should play them today:

KHAN: Antonio Banderas
MUDD: Robbie Coltrane
COMMODORE MATT DECKER: John Noble
WILLIAM DECKER: Scott Porter

Do you have any other random characters who need casting? Tell us about 'em in the forums!
