The Morning Roundup: The Express Trailer, First Incredible Hulk Review, Wanted Pics

Image This morning we’ve got all sorts of juicy news for you including the first trailer for The Express, McG’s denial of the rumored ending to the upcoming Terminator film, film news of superheroes who prefer green, the first review of The Incredible Hulk, pics from Wanted, and more!

Not surprising, McG has denied the spoiler regarding the supposed ending of his upcoming Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins…er…sort of.  In his official blog he writes, “By the way, there are only three people who know the ending. The unknown future rolls toward us.”

There’s a new trailer online for the upcoming sports drama The Express based on the true story of college football hero Ernie Davis, the first African- American to win the Heisman Trophy.  To view it click HERE.

Would you believe Paramount wants the entire creative team behind the upcoming Star Trek movie to come back for a sequel?  Fear not Green Lantern fans, for producer Donald De Line has confirmed that Jack Black is NOT attached to the upcoming film.  Unfortunately he also stated that it is still stalled in development, but promises it will be a “classic character origin piece” about Hal Jordan.

In news of other things green, Seth Rogen reports that though his take on bringing The Green Hornet to the big screen will go for a PG-13 rating (what comic book movie doesn’t these days?) it will be “very intense.”  Though not officially greenlit, Rogen has been scouting out possible helmers and talent for Kato, indicating Stephen Chow is high on his list.

While this is just a fan-made poster, it is still pretty cool, courtesy of /Film reader:

JoBlo got their hands on a new trailer for The X-Files: I Want to Believe.

The first review of The Incredible Hulk is out, and it’s as I feared from reviewing an early draft of the script for this movie.  If you’re like me and loved Ang Lee’s Hulk in 2003, well “hate” might be a strong word but you won’t enjoy what appeasing the masses has done to the big green guy.  Here’s an excerpt:

“The new Incredible Hulk movie couldn’t be more different to its 2003 predecessor . . . The Incredible Hulk never runs out of steam. Put simply: this is the movie which audiences wanted to see back in 2003. No dull existential angst and weird split screen film techniques . . . Instead we get some nice comic asides, including another cameo by Stan Lee and a riff on those mega-stretchy purple pants Banner always seems to wear.”

Jokes about the Hulk’s pants?  Good grief.

Speaking of The Incredible Hulk, have you seen these latest images from the movie?

The guys at IESB got a chance to sit down with J.K.Simmons and ask a few questions about his possible return as J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man 4 and beyond, among other things.  When asked about Tobey Maguire’s involvement Simmons said:

“I spoke to Tobey in, I guess it was February…sort of awards season time and, y’know, he’s certainly amenable to doing some more and hopefully we’ll be able to get everybody back and make another good one.”

Hey, the Transformers sequel has gotten an official title: Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

Attention Guitar Heroes who happen to own an Xbox 360, there will be 5 new track packs available on Xbox Live starting later this month that include songs from Motorhead and The Sex Pistols, among other still-to-be-announced riffs.

In other gaming news Microsoft continues to make Sony its bitch, as the Xbox 360 is getting played by more gamers of all ages than is the PS3.  The Wii is a strong second, which I guess means it’s more accurate to say that Microsoft and Nintendo are tag-teaming Sony until it’s in a fetal position and crying.

We’ve got a slew of new pics from the upcoming films Wanted, check ‘em out below:
