Totally Fake Mock Poster For The Coen Brothers’ Clue

Written by: Tony Lazlo, CC2K Staff Writer

ImageMan, I've done some geeky shit in my time, but this has to be the most ridiculous.

So here's what happened:

Don't ask me why, but I was goofing around YouTube, looking for fan-made movies based on the board game Clue. It turns out that there are a lot of bad high school productions based on the classic 80s comedy. Awesome.

So then I thought, "What if the Coen Brothers decided to mount a prestige, super-intense, Oscar-bait movie based on Clue?"

Now, a few disclaimers:

• Obviously, this isn't even close to being anything real. This just a mock poster I made while goofing around.

• In case you're thinking, "Hey, asshole, if this is a Coen Brothers movie, why didn't you cast Frances McDormand as Mrs. Peacock … asshole?" Well, I tried to find pictures of the cast members that looked vaguely in character, and Parker Posey fit the bill. Also, she's awesome.

• Anyway, I love imagining goofy projects like this, and the graphic design experience is always good. Feel free to tee off on my design or my casting choices in the forum!
