Dynamite Entertainment has announced it's first ever spin-off series in the form of Herogasm, a spin-off mini-series of Dynamite's hit superhero send up, The Boys, landing on shelves in May.
Written by The Boys' co-creator and writer, comics superstar Garth Ennis, with pencils and inks by artist John McCrea (Hitman), Herogasm promises to take a look at the spaces in between a major superhero crossover. Ennis says, "What really happens during crossovers? What do superheroes do when nobody's looking? And what does the Vice-President of the United States have to do with any of this?"
Herogasm will also feature covers by regular series and other co-creator, artist Darick Robertson.
"Garth has a few special surprises for The Boys planned for the back-half of his story and this mini is the first," explained Dynamite Associate Editor Joe Rybandt. "While Darick works on the main series, we're especially pleased that we were able to reunite Garth and John McCrea for this mini which will shock even the most hardcore Boys fan. Guaranteed."
If The Boys shakes the foundations of what a superhero book can be, then Herogasm is sure to destroy your expectations.
