Comic-Con: Comic Books and Toys

Written by: Tony Lazlo, CC2K Staff Writer

ImageA trip through the Marvel/DC/Hasbro wing of Comic-Con bombarded me with imagery associated with Green Lantern's ongoing Darkest Night storyline, which follows several splinter lantern groups as they struggle for supremacy. Pictured is the Black Lantern J'onn J'onzz, formerly known as Martian Manhunter.

Apparently the Black Lantern Corps draws its ranks from the deceased of the DC Universe, and that means one thing: Zombie Batman. (In case you hadn't heard, Batman recently bit the dust while battling Darkseid.)

I also spotted some fantastic new Transformers toys over at the Hasbro booth, including a stunning new version of the Constructicon monster Devastator.
