Event: BREAKOPENla in Los Angeles This Weekend

Written by: Tony Lazlo, CC2K Staff Writer

ImageGood morning, CC2K! Anyone in Los Angeles this Saturday should check out this insane music and art event that some friends of mine host every month.

Here are some more details from their website:

It's here, your revamped monthly event series BREAKOPENla.

As many of you know, we feature some of the most profound local musicians, visual artists, installation gurus, that LA has to offer. A vibrant mix of emerging styles, aesthetics, and sub-cultures quickly accelerating LA into the next decade of apocalyptically sublime cultural upheaval, memetic mutation, and inspired communion with the LA experimental community.

This time, you'll find inspiration from the likes of Brainfeeder Artists Teebs, Dr.Strangeloop, & Matthew David. Also be sure to check out The Sideshow!

Start Time: Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 9:00pm
End Time: Sunday, September 27, 2009 till your head blows up AM
Location: Junction Block 1367 N. Spring St. Los Angeles, CA $12 cover; worth every penny!
