Allison Scagliotti for Cassie Hack: A Primer

Written by: Tony Lazlo, CC2K Staff Writer

Image We here at CC2K would like to voice our support for the Allison Scagliotti for Cassie Hack movement.

Warehouse 13’s Allison Scagliotti should play comic-book heroine Cassie Hack from Tim Seeley’s series Hack/Slash. This simple premise has spawned an online movement to not only see a Hack/Slash movie get made, but to also give geeks a say in who plays the lead role.

Stand-up comedian and comic-book historian Sax Carr first advanced this notion over at Comics on Comics, and since then, he’s started up the Twitter hashtag #AllisonScag4Cassie.

But let’s ask Sax to explain the movement himself in a video expertly shot and cut by the eminent video blogger and online personality Sam Proof:

And lest you think we’re a bunch of cranks, Allison Scagliotti herself not only supports the casting choice, but she’s writing the introduction for Tim’s next Hack/Slash trade paperback!
