Assassin’s Creed: Unity
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was a momentous move forward in bringing fun back into the franchise. Unfortunately, Unity has soured the series with extremely buggy gameplay, large dips in frame-rate, and general blasé in character and story. Sure, the game is beautiful and Paris is wonderfully realized, but the overall mechanics and tropes are so worn out, the game is boring. The best things Black Flag brought are lost, and it feels like a huge step back. Honestly, Black Flag is far superior in every way especially in the protagonist and interesting historical scenarios. Sorry, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Les Miserables is a more enjoyable representation of revolutionary France.
