The vocals have a great snotty attitude to them, I know that sounds weird, but that is the only way I can describe the restlessness and rebellion contained in a tone of voice. They are gritty, mean, and haunting all rolled up into one tone. The album kicks off with Save Your Spit, the catchiest of the tracks,it sucks you right in as it sets the stage for the rest of the album. Welcome to the Sympathy Party has a great hook and killer screamo-ish ending and Parade On Me really embodies the dark alternative vibe. The Excavation has a deeper feel to it than the previous tracks, it is the perfect ending to this album, since it somehow finds a way to crawl inside you and make you a bit more quiet. This record grew on me with every listen and demands your attention, you will not be doing it justice if it is just playing in the background.
