Charlize Theron to Travel Down The Road With Mortensen

Charlize Theron has signed on to play the wife to Viggo Mortensen’s hero in the upcoming film adaptation of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.

According to Variety, Theron agreed to play the smallish role, seen mostly in flashback, because she’s a huge fan of the novel.

Shooting starts on The Road next month.
