Man, I kinda love these guys and don’t know what to say about them. I was never a huge hardcore kid  – and when I was it was the likes of Ignite and Bane, you know, with solid hook. But I did go to a lot of hard core shows, just because my local scene growing up was solidly split down the middle between pop punk and hardcore. So hardcore reminds me of some of my best friends, some of the best shows I went to, some of the best times, even if I never really got into the music.

Free Children of Earth are the type of band that can get anyone into hardcore. They are loud, aggressive, but there is a hook lingering underneath all of it. I am having a hard time picking out my favorite track on the Terminal Stasis, they are all so solid, but if push came to shove I think it would be True Targets. The energy never dips in any of the songs or in the album, there is no calming moment, no reprieve. I can only image how awesome these guys are live, how intense the pit is.

This reminds me of being young, it reminds me of being full of hope and passion and aggression, it reminds me of when I thought we could change the world.
