Bearded Late-Night Hosts Return, Some With Writers, Some Not

Armed with new contracts for their beleaguered writers and a few beards, late night TV returned last night.
Hillary Clinton introduced David Letterman with all the charm of a toy doll winding down. Letterman worked out some kind of new deal with his writers, so he made his return debut with a full staff. More after the jump!
But in an effort to show he was the most dedicated to his writers, Conan O'Brien returned without them and just wung it. He joked about his own beard (which makes him look like a young Kris Kringle from Santa Claus is Comin' To Town), and shared a "Strike Beard" moment with the audience.
