Bond 22 Villain Confirmed, Felix Leiter Returns

Bond’s newest nemesis has been announced.  Mathieu Amalric (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) has been confirmed in the role of the major villain of the upcoming Bond 22 film.

Variety also reported that Jeffrey Wright, who stepped into the role of CIA agent Felix Leiter in Casino Royale, will reprise his role in the next film.  Wright mentioned in an interview that the new film will delve deeper into the psyche of 007.

While shooting on the film is more than a month behind schedule, and the casting of the newest Bond-girl still hasn’t been finalized, the film’s producers are confident it will still make its November 8 premiere.
