Busted Rumor: Role of Destro in G.I. Joe Movie Still Open

Despite rumors to the contrary, IESB is reporting they’ve got confirmation that Dominic West (300, The Wire) is not Destro. The British actor had been connected to the role of the steel-headed villain by reports from Latino Review, but a reliable source from Paramount told IESB that was incorrect.

In fact, IESB is reporting their source informed them West is not even on the short list of Scottish actors in the running for the role of the arms dealer who supplies weapons to COBRA and will be one of the major villains of the upcoming G.I. Joe movie.

Destro is one of the final characters still not cast (as is Duke), but we’ll keep ya updated as we hear more!
