We’ve got our first picture of Frank Langella in his latest role as one of our nation’s most notorious presidents in the upcoming Frost/Nixon. The film, to be directed by Ron Howard, originated as a play written by Peter Morgan.

The play was based on the series of televised interviews that Nixon gave David Frost in 1977. Interestingly, when the play premiered in London’s West End, Frank Langella had the part of Richard Nixon, and Michael Sheen portrayed Frost. Later the play moved to Broadway, and the two actors remained in their respective roles, and they have both signed to reprise them again in the film adaptation.

The pic scored by the OCRegister captures Langella as Nixon striking his famous "Victory Pose" after resigning and exiting the White House for the last time. And if it isn’t obvious, the pic in the upper right is the real deal, for your comparison.
