It’s official: Disney has taken over the world.

Everywhere you look, their influence can be felt. In movies, they now own some of the most beloved franchises of all time. In comic books, there reach extends beyond their own intellectual property. In video games, they’d already crossed a dozen genres with Kingdom Hearts. And now, with the meteoric rise of Disney Infinity, they have done the impossible. They have put dozens of franchises together in one massive world and made it work. 

How did this happen? And where did this success come from? Well, let’s take a look at three things that make the Infinity world so damn appealing.
