Marvel reveals 2 Secret Avengers!

Back in mid-February, Marvel announced a new ongoing series "Secret Avengers" which would be written by Ed Brubaker with art by Mike Deodato and debuting in May. Marvel released images of blacked out characters and hints on which Marvel character would be a "Secret Avenger." Today, Marvel unveiled two key characters: Beast and War Machine.

Beast and War Machine have been Avengers in the past. With War Machine having a newly cloned body and not as mechanic as he has been in his own series, it'll be interesting to see how he reacts with a superhero team again. Beast has left the X-men, had a brief stint working for S.W.O.R.D. and currently he isn't in any major Marvel title. When Beast was an Avenger, Wonderman and Beast were Marvel's "cop buddy" film. It will be interesting to see if they make Beast a more comedic character, since the last ten years he has had a more serious tone.
