Official Title of Bond 22 Announced

The title for the next installment of the James Bond franchise was officially unveiled this morning in London. It will be called Quantum of Solace, the title of a short story by Ian Fleming published in 1960.

This news comes despite rumors, either outright wrong or part of a smokescreen by the film’s producers, that the title might simply be 007.

Quantum of Solace just sounds so damn cool to me. It’s got a different ring than any of the other Bond films, and I hope it’s a sign that this next film will continue the greatness of Casino Royale.
