Sasha Baron Cohen To Incite Riot As Research For Role in Spielberg’s Seven

Variety is reporting that Steven Spielberg wants to cast Sasha Baron Cohen as Abbie Hoffman, the political activist who was arrested and tried in connection with the Chicago Seven. More after the jump!

Background information: The Chicago Seven were tried in connection conspiracy charges, allegedly for organizing protests that led to violent confrontation with police during the 1968 Democratic convention.

I don't know what happened to Spielberg's Liam Neeson-starring Lincoln, but I guess this is his next big thing. It's tentatively titled The Trial of the Chicago Seven.
