Shadow of Mordor: Lord of the Assassin’s Creed?

Written by: Adam "ManKorn" Korenman, CC2K Video Games Editor

A shadow falls over the World of Men; a darkness long thought dead and gone. In the heart of Mordor, the god-king Sauron rises from the dead to lay waste to the land of Middle Earth. And you are caught right in the middle.

Actually, if we’re being honest, you are nowhere near that particular threat. Set on the outskirts of the Lord of the Rings sagas, Shadow of Mordor sets you as a character on a less selfless quest than the famous hobitsess: You’re just in it for revenge.

Announced only a short while ago, Shadow has already made the front page of many less prestigious gaming rags. All that changes now with this shallow look at the most anticipated LOTR project since Peter Jackson decided to split The Hobbit into fifty fucking movies.

Did you know that Gloin (3rd from right) is Gimli’s dad? From the other movies?

Oh, you literally couldn’t give less fucks if you tried? Well, it’s all explained better in the eight-minute slow-motion staring scene.
