If our own Tony Lazlo is any indication (and I think he’s a pretty good one) then one thing Star Trek fans are definitely wanting to see in the upcoming Star Trek XI prequel project by J.J. Abrams is how James T. Kirk famously beat the "unwinnable" Kobayashi Maru test that is referenced in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.

The guys over at AICN are reporting a "crazy rumor" that not only is this detail included in the script for the upcoming film, but their source knows how Kirk does it.

Find out what it is after the jump!

According to their source, "Kirk persuades a chick he is banging to alter the simulator so that it is winnable."

So as opposed to some savvy bit of reprogramming or, better yet as Tony described, some espionage by Kirk to gain the upper hand, instead it seems Kirk does the "impossible" by wooing a woman and convincing her to break the rules for him.

Anyone else disappointed by this? Personally, I think Tony’s idea is much better.
