This morning we’ve got a couple of rumors shot down, new trailers for Appaloosa and Role Models, new posters for the former as well as Mirrors and RocknRolla, and more.

Rumors of Shia LaBeouf becoming an amputee are (as most rumors are) greatly exaggerated.  True the young actor injured his hand in a car accident recently, but his publicist says reports of LeBouf informing Transformers 2 producers that the injuries would require his left pinky finger to be amputated are “totally untrue”. 

Two news items related to casting choices made by Quentin Tarantino.  The first is that Eli Roth, known more as the director of Hostel, is set to star opposite Brad Pitt in Inglorious Bastards as Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, a “baseball bat-swinging Nazi hunter.”  The second item is that again, the wildly spreading rumor that Tarantino is courting Britney Spears to star in his remake of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! is false . Whether that’s good or bad is for you to decide, but it’s not happening.
