ImageLoads of news this morning: There may be a new Spider-Man. ABC may have scored a script review of Oliver Stone's George W. Bush biopic. Battlestar Galactica is coming. And more!

Here's the big news: JoBlo is reporting that Jake Gyllenhaal will take over the role of Peter Parker in the fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise. They offer no speculation on whether Raimi will return as director, but they do report that the fourth movie will include more Venom, as well as additional villains that may include Lizard and Electro.

Ben Stiller has climbed on board of The Return of King Doug.

Fox just got the rights to a new thriller called Man and Wife. Here's the pitch: "Story of international espionage centers on a professional killer, who has to pretend to be an ordinary husband, and the wife who learns to love him in a totally unexpected way." Sounds like True Lies.

IGN scored an interview with Anton Yelchin, the new Checkhov for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. A highlight: "Well, I think there's going to be a lot of the old stuff for everyone to be thrilled by," Yelchin says equitably, "but there is going to be more action– it's updated obviously, it's 40 years since the original show – and J.J Abrams is making it. It's going to be a pretty badass movie. But we're remaining very respectful still, bringing things back from the original that will excite fans who've been fans forever."
