UPDATE! Christian Bale to Elevate Terminator 4 as Leader of the Human Resistance

UPDATE! Variety has confirmed not only that Christian Bale will be starring in Terminator 4, but that he will take on the role of an adult John Connor, dispelling previous rumors that he would be playing a terminator. There have been some rumors that Arnold Schwarzengger might make a cameo appearance, but Variety neither confirmed nor denied that rumor.  Though it seems unlikely since he’s busy governing the state of California.

Also, since this will be set in the future with John Connor as an adult, it also seems unlikely Linda Hamilton will reprise her role as Sarah Connor, though who knows?
