Wolverine Casting News: Hood Has Found Silverfox

While we were all getting ready to eat copious amounts of turkey and watch hours upon hours of football, the guys at IESB got confirmation on a bit of casting news for Gavin Hood’s upcoming film prequel, Wolverine. Joining Hugh Jackman will be Maggie Q (Mission Impossible III, Live Free or Die Hard, Balls of Fury) as Logan’s love interest, Silverfox.

While Silverfox is portrayed as native Canadian in the comics, Maggie Q is half-Irish/half-Vietnamese. Who knows how this is going to affect the character, but it’s still a great bit of casting, as she has the magical combination of being incredibly hot and seemingly able to kick ass, as evidenced by the beat-down she laid on Bruce Willis in Live Free or Die Hard.
